Photos from Agrimed in Germany

Sustainable Herbs Project visit to Agrimed.

Here are some photos from our visit to Agrimed in Germany. Agrimed is a producers’ association for medicinal and spice plants in which approximately 60 farmers have joined together to produce, process and market herbs. We will post photos of the drying and processing facilities in a later post.

Thomas Vogt, a farmer and board member, shows us his fields. This region has had a hot, dry year without enough water for crops. Many of the plants are much smaller than usual for this time of year. Photo by Willow Forbes.
